Last updated: 16 June 2026
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. They affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance and contractual relationship
These Terms of Use (together with all documents incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy and the Cookies & Tracking Technologies Policy, collectively the "Terms") constitute a legal agreement between the operator of rezumic.com ("Rezumic", "we", or "us") and each end user ("User" or "you") of the rezumic.com website, the related online platform, and the tools, materials, content, and services available through them (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The operator
The Service is operated by an individual founder, a sole proprietor based in India. The full legal name and registered address of the operator are available to data subjects and competent authorities on written request submitted to [email protected].
3. The Service
Rezumic provides a self-service tool that formats content provided by the User into a downloadable resume in PDF format. In the current release, the Service is made available free of charge and without registration, authentication, or persistent user accounts. Rezumic may at any time and without notice modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service, including by introducing paid features. Material changes affecting the User will be notified in accordance with Section 15.
4. Eligibility
The Service is intended for natural persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and who have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of their jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, persons who do not meet them.
5. User content and intellectual property
As between the User and Rezumic, the User retains all right, title, and interest in and to the resume content the User submits to the Service and in any PDF generated from that content. The User grants Rezumic a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to process and transmit User content solely to the extent necessary to render and deliver the PDF requested by the User. Rezumic does not use User content to train artificial-intelligence models, does not share User content with third parties beyond the subprocessors identified in the Privacy Policy, and acquires no further rights in such content. Rezumic, its licensors, and its suppliers retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, the underlying source code, templates, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants the User any licence to copy, reproduce, publish, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Service or its content, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
6. Responsibility for User content (IMPORTANT)
The User is solely and entirely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, legality, and use of all content submitted to the Service and of any resume generated from that content. Without limiting the foregoing, the User undertakes not to submit fabricated credentials, false employment or educational history, plagiarised material, or content that misrepresents the identity of any person, and undertakes not to submit content that infringes the rights of any third party or is unlawful under applicable law. Rezumic does not verify, fact-check, or endorse User content. PDFs generated by the Service reflect the content submitted by the User without modification of substance.
7. Acceptable use
The User shall not, and shall not permit any third party to: (i) access or use the Service by any automated means, including scraping, crawling, or programmatic load generation, without the prior written consent of Rezumic; (ii) attempt to bypass, circumvent, or interfere with any intended limitation, security mechanism, or functionality of the Service, or to reverse-engineer the Service or any portion of it; (iii) use the Service to generate, distribute, or attempt to distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, or infringing of any third-party right; or (iv) interfere with the operation of the Service or with any other User's access to or use of the Service.
8. Outcome disclaimer (IMPORTANT)
Rezumic is a formatting tool. Rezumic does not provide career advice, resume coaching, recruitment services, candidate placement, application submission, or any other professional service of any kind, and Rezumic makes no representation or warranty that any resume produced through the Service will result in a job application being considered, an interview being granted, an offer being extended, or any other career or employment outcome. Rezumic is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability in connection with, hiring decisions, rejections, missed opportunities, lost wages, lost earning capacity, lost reputation, or any other career or employment result of any kind, whether or not connected to use of the Service or to documents generated through it. The User is solely and entirely responsible for the manner in which the User uses any document generated by the Service and for any decision made by a third party (including any prospective employer, recruiter, or screening system) on the basis of such document.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, or uninterrupted availability. Rezumic does not warrant that the Service or any document generated by it will be error-free, complete, or fit for any particular employer, role, industry, or jurisdiction.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Rezumic or the founder operating it be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, employment opportunities, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in any way connected with the Service or with any document generated through it, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Rezumic has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The total aggregate liability of Rezumic to any User for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by the User to Rezumic in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one thousand Indian Rupees (₹1,000). Because the Service is provided free of charge under these Terms, the effective cap on liability is ₹1,000.
11. Indemnification
The User shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rezumic, the founder operating it, and its agents and representatives from and against any and all third-party claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (i) any content submitted by the User to the Service, including any content that is false, misleading, plagiarised, or unlawful; (ii) any breach by the User of these Terms; or (iii) any violation by the User of any applicable law or of any right of any third party.
12. Fees and paid features (reserved)
The Service is provided free of charge in the current release. No subscription, charge, or payment information is collected. Provisions relating to pricing, billing, subscription cycles, payment-processor disclosures, refunds, and cancellation are reserved for future paid features and will take effect only upon their introduction, subject to notice provided in accordance with Section 15.
13. Termination
The User may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Rezumic may suspend, restrict, or terminate the User's access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, where the User has breached these Terms or where, in Rezumic's reasonable assessment, continued access poses a risk to Rezumic, to other Users, or to any third party. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 14 shall survive termination. Server-side data held in connection with the User's use of the Service is limited as described in the Privacy Policy and is deleted automatically in the ordinary course.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Faridabad and the National Capital Region of Delhi, Haryana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, subject only to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights available to the User under the User's local law.
15. Modifications to these Terms
Rezumic may modify these Terms from time to time. Modifications take effect upon posting of the revised Terms on this page together with an updated effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Service for a reasonable period following posting. The User's continued use of the Service following the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If the User does not agree to a revision, the User shall discontinue use of the Service.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and Rezumic with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Rezumic's failure to enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The User may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without the prior written consent of Rezumic; Rezumic may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganisation, merger, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
